Cell clothing embraces the simple Who, Why, Where and When?
Who?
Cell is made up four friends, Nathan and Allan who are the company founders Nick cell designs and Rich cell photography.
Why?
Cell builds it's simple ethos on social networking around like minded original people, a collaboration of simple yet effective designs and images builds the foundations of Cell's concept.
Where?
Cell trades from South London with strong links to its home town of Chichester and surrounding areas, Cell is looking to secure Chichester and Balham firmly on the map!
When?
Cell started in the winter of 2006, born from a conversation between Allan and Nathan on a snow covered balcony in Andorra.
Allan described his desire for a clothing label, the logo design was scratched into the frost on the window and the name formed in Nathan's head, Cell.
With Allan living in London and Nathan living in Swansea cell clothing started extremely slowly, by the start of 2007 Nathan realised that he was no longer in love with the idea of trying to finish a degree in construction management and decided to leave the comfort of Wales for London.
Nathan and Allan becoming neighbours proved to be a huge step in the right direction for Cell clothing. Summer 2007 was spent asking Nick for designs and learning as much as possible about t-shirt printing and all the hidden mistakes that can be made.
2008 started with the first ever sample prints, months later cell managed to land a European contract.
In August 08 Nick introduced Rich to the team and by September Rich showed cell what he could do with a camera. cellclothing.co.uk went live days before Christmas and it looked like all the fun had been taken out of 2008, but there was one surprise left. On a very drunken New Years Eve bash Nathan bumped into an old school friend.
Chris Ede has since helped cell clothing with designs and art work for the web site, we all look forward to Chris’s ongoing involvement with cell.
